The Kiwanis of Michigan Foundation was started over 100 years ago to support Child Life Programs at children’s hospitals in Michigan, providing valuable resources for our kids as they receive care.
The MDK Foundation exists to support the district and the Kiwanis Clubs of Michigan. It provides a fundraising outlet for several district projects, including the Law Enforcement Academy, Mental Health initiatives, and the annual Aktion Club District Convention.
The Kiwanis Children’s Fund turns gifts into grants that support Kiwanis projects around the world, amplifying donors’ impact on kids’ health and nutrition, education and literacy, and youth leadership development. The Children’s Fund partners with other organizations, and it partners with Kiwanis clubs of all sizes — helping them apply for grants and funding projects that serve kids.
The Michigan District of Kiwanis is accepting applications for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in going into the Law Enforcement Career field.
Clubs can sponsor students in their area or a student looking for a sponsor from around the state of Michigan. Cost is $595 per student and includes a $100 non refundable deposit.
